1. Install the browser extension

The BestBallTracker extension captures your Underdog drafts into your account automatically — no scripts to run.

Chrome or Edge

Unzip the downloaded file to a folder you'll keep (don't delete it — the browser loads from it).
Open chrome://extensions (or edge://extensions).
Turn on Developer mode (top-right).
Click Load unpacked and select the unzipped folder (the one containing manifest.json).
The BestBallTracker icon appears in your toolbar. Pin it for easy access.

Firefox

Unzip the downloaded file.
Open about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox.
Click Load Temporary Add-on… and select the manifest.json file in the folder.
Note: temporary add-ons are removed when Firefox restarts — re-add it after a restart, or wait for the Firefox Add-ons store listing.

Once the extension is in the official stores, you'll get one-click install with automatic updates.

2. Connect it to your account

Sign in at bestballtracker.com.
Go to your Account page and click Copy next to your Extension API key.
Click the BestBallTracker icon in your toolbar to open the popup.
Leave the BBTracker API URL as-is, paste your key into Your account token, and click Save & sign in.
You should see "Signed in as …" — you're connected.

3. Capture a draft

Live drafts: open your draft on Underdog — the extension mirrors your picks into your board automatically as they happen.
Completed drafts: open the finished draft and click the extension's Capture button to import it.
Your first draft is free. Paid subscribers can track unlimited drafts.

Troubleshooting

Nothing is importing / the extension seems disconnected

Make sure you're signed in and that you pasted your API key into the extension popup. Then reload the extension: open chrome://extensions → click Reload under BestBallTracker → refresh the Underdog page.

It says "importing… taking a while" and seems stuck

The server may be waking up. Wait a few seconds and tap Capture again — the second try is usually instant. Imports are safe to retry (they won't duplicate).

"Free plan tracks 1 draft — upgrade to track more"

The free plan tracks your first draft. To track additional drafts, subscribe on your Account page ($4.99/mo or $39/yr, 7-day free trial). You can keep re-capturing your first draft on the free plan.

My drafted team isn't highlighted

Set your Underdog username in Settings so we can identify which seat is yours. Then re-capture the draft.

A draft looks duplicated or wrong

Reload the extension (chrome://extensions → Reload), refresh the Underdog draft page, and click Capture again. Re-capturing rebuilds the draft cleanly.

The extension stopped working after a browser or extension update

Refresh the Underdog tab. If you installed via the ZIP, download the latest ZIP, unzip over the old folder, and click Reload on chrome://extensions.
